Death Stranding 2 Has the Best PC Launch for a Single-player PlayStation-First Game

According to SteamDB, Death Stranding 2 had a peak concurrent user (CCU) count of 55,444 in the first 24 hours after it launched on Steam on March 19, with conservative estimates of sales at around 300,000 at the time of writing. This is a higher peak launch CCU than both Death Stranding and Death Stranding: Directors Cut combined. Death Stranding 2 also has a higher all-time peak CCU than any other Sony single-player sequel released on PC, beating out major PlayStation sequels like God of War: Ragnarok, Horizon: Forbidden West, and Spider-Man 2.
